"Lee did a fantastic job of putting up both tellys in our caravan and getting the awkward ultra light brackets we needed. Hiding all the wires too, he did everything he said he could and in quick time too. Excellent job."
TV and aerial installer in Selsey, just across the peninsula.
We’re in Bracklesham Bay, a short drive from Selsey. TVs on the wall with the cables hidden, aerials that stand up to the sea air, satellite, and TVs in caravans and holiday homes.

Selsey sits right out at the tip of the Manhood Peninsula, with the sea wrapped around it. It’s a great place to live and a tough place for anything on a roof. The wind off the Channel around Selsey Bill and East Beach doesn’t let up in winter, and salt in the air gets into every aerial clamp and cable joint.
That’s why so many reception problems we see in Selsey come down to corrosion and wind rather than the TV. Connections go green, cables let water in, masts work loose. When we fit an aerial here we use outdoor-grade cable and weatherproofed connections, and fix the mast so it isn’t going to rattle loose in the next gale.
Selsey’s housing is mostly bungalows and two-storey family homes, plus a lot of holiday homes and static caravans on the parks around the town. Bungalows are often straightforward for running cables through the loft. Caravans need a different approach altogether.
What we do in Selsey
The jobs we’re asked for most in and around the town.
Get a Free QuoteTV Aerials
Our most common Selsey job. Replacing corroded aerials and cable, and sorting signal that drops out when the wind gets up.
TV Wall Mounting
Bungalows and family homes, with cables brought down from the loft or hidden in the wall where we can.
Caravan TVs
Lightweight brackets and hidden wiring for statics and lodges on the holiday parks.
Satellite & Freesat
Dishes realigned after storms, moved, or taken down when they’re no longer used.
WiFi & Networks
Data points and access points for homes where the router is at one end and the signal never reaches the other.
What makes Selsey different
A few things we plan for on every Selsey job.
Salt and wind
Coastal air shortens the life of aerials and fittings. A check every few years catches problems before the picture goes.
Bungalow lofts
Most single-storey homes have a loft above every room, which makes running new TV and network cables much easier.
Second homes
Plenty of Selsey properties are second homes or lets. If you’re not local, tell us how we’ll get in and we’ll arrange the visit around it.
One road in
Selsey is reached by one main road, the B2145, which can crawl on summer weekends. Being based on the peninsula, we know the back lanes.
Open sea, open sky, and still a bad picture?
You’d think a town with so little in the way would get a perfect TV signal, and plenty of homes do. Most Selsey aerials point across the water towards the Rowridge transmitter on the Isle of Wight. But a perfect signal at the aerial is no use if it’s lost in a corroded joint or a cable that has let water in, and that’s exactly what the sea air does over time.
So when we’re called out to a poor picture in Selsey, we check the whole run, from the aerial on the roof to the socket behind the TV, and fix the weak link rather than just swapping the aerial.
