"Lee was thorough, thoughtful and extremely helpful, turning a problem, limited and intermittent reception, into an excellent result, 100% reception on every station."
TV and aerial installer in Bosham, careful with old walls.
Bosham’s flint cottages and harbourside homes need a careful hand. We mount TVs, fit aerials and dishes, and sort out WiFi across Bosham and Broadbridge, without making a mess of walls that have stood for a very long time.
5.0from 130 Google reviewsOld walls, low ground and a lot of trees
The old part of Bosham, around the church and down to the harbour, is mostly flint and brick cottages, many of them listed and all of them inside a conservation area. Walls are thick, uneven and often softer than they look. They’ll take a TV, but the fixings and the cable route need thinking about before anyone picks up a drill.
North of the A259, Broadbridge and the newer roads around it are a different story, with postwar and modern family homes that are much more straightforward to work in.
Reception can be the trickiest part. The village sits low beside the harbour with mature trees all around, and both can get between an aerial and the transmitter. We find the best position on your property rather than bolting an aerial to the chimney and hoping.

Working in Bosham’s older homes
What we plan for before we arrive.
Thick flint walls
Strong enough for a heavy TV once it’s fixed properly, but there’s no cavity for cables, so we plan a tidy route instead.
Listed buildings
If your home is listed, consent may be needed for some work. Check with Chichester District Council first, and we’ll keep everything as discreet as we can.
Tides and parking
The harbour road floods at high tide and parking in the old village is tight. We plan visits with both in mind.
Trees and signal
Leaves block TV signal, especially when they’re wet, so an aerial that worked in February can struggle in July. We position it for the worst case.
From Bracklesham to Bosham
Bosham is about ten miles from our base, up through Birdham and round the top of the harbour via Chichester, so we’re in the area regularly. It sits on our Google profile alongside the other harbour villages, Birdham and West Itchenor, so it’s firmly part of our patch.
If you’re in the old village, let us know about parking when you book, and if the work involves the outside of a listed cottage, have a word with the council before we come.
What our customers say

"As I am a widowed older person I was cautious in contacting Cox AV to look at my TV and aerial. I needn’t have worried. He was quick, his work good… I would not hesitate to recommend him. Thank you Lee."
