"Outstanding work. Great communication with Lee at every point about what could and couldn’t be done. Consummately professional and very good value for money. I’d highly recommend and will definitely use again. Top operator, and one to be highly trusted."
Home cinema and AV installation, built around your room.
From a soundbar and subwoofer to a full surround sound setup, or pre-wiring a renovation before the plasterers arrive, we plan the system around the room you’ve actually got.
5.0from 130 Google reviewsGood sound starts with the room, not the box
It’s easy to spend a lot on speakers and an amplifier and still end up with muddy, disappointing sound. Where the speakers sit, how far you are from the screen, what’s on the floor and the walls: all of it changes how a system sounds. So we start with the room and work out what will suit it.
That might be a dedicated cinema room with a projector and speakers in the ceiling. It might be a living room where the family watches films at the weekend and the speakers need to blend in the rest of the week. Both can sound great. They just need different kit and different cable routes.
We’re happy to give advice on equipment before you buy anything, so you don’t end up with a box of kit that doesn’t suit the space.
Ways to build a home cinema
From a simple upgrade to a room built for films.
Soundbar and subwoofer
The simplest step up from TV speakers. A good soundbar under the screen and a subwoofer tucked to one side make a big difference in a living room, without speakers everywhere.
Surround sound
Speakers in front of, beside and behind the seating, driven by an AV receiver. We position them for the seats you actually use and hide as much cabling as the room allows.
In-wall and in-ceiling speakers
Speakers fitted flush into the plasterboard, so there’s nothing on stands. Easiest to do while ceilings and walls are open during building work.
Projectors and big screens
A projector and screen for a dedicated room, or a big TV for a room that has to work in daylight too. We talk through which suits the space and how much light gets in.
Building or renovating? Wire it now.
The best time to plan AV is before the walls are finished. Once the plaster’s up, every cable has to find a way round it.

We run speaker, HDMI and network cables while the studwork is open, and leave tidy plates where the kit will go.
Loft conversions and garden rooms
Popular spots for a second TV or a cinema room, and both usually need network and TV signal brought in from the main house.
Business premises
Screens and sound for reception areas, meeting rooms and shops, wired before you move in to limit disruption once you’re open.
Long HDMI runs
When the AV kit lives in a cupboard and the screen is across the room, the connection has to be planned properly so the picture stays reliable over the distance.
Starting with the screen
If the main job is getting the TV on the wall, start with TV wall mounting and add sound later.
Getting a quote for a home cinema
Every room is different, so there’s no fixed price for a home cinema. The quickest way to a clear quote is to tell us the size and shape of the room, where you’d like the screen, where you sit, and any kit you already own or have your eye on. A few photos help a lot.
If it’s part of a build or renovation, let us know what stage it’s at. Getting in before the plasterboard goes up makes everything easier and tidier.

"Lee did a great job mounting my TV. He was friendly and efficient and went out of his way to help with all aspects. I would 100% use him again."
